Housed in a fully separated leatherette case (split at spine, loss to spine edge, surface wear). This playful portrait likely shows a pair of grandparents sharing a sweet moment with their young grandchild. -- Sixth plate daguerreotype portrait of the same man and baby from the previous portrait. He holds the youngster up near his face and smiles at the camera. (Soft focus, tarnishing to edges, few spots, minor surface scratches, some weeping to glass.) Housed in a half leatherette case.
